echochrome Trophies
Echochrome, the Playstation Network downloadable title that takes the optical illusions we use to create 3D video games and turns them on their heads, features 10 Trophies for the Playstation Trophy Seekers who enjoys the puzzle games that are truly one of a kind. With only two golds, one silver, and 7 bronzes, echochrome shouldn’t be too difficult to Perfect with a little time and a keen understanding of the 5 laws of the world of Echochrome.
These Trophies can split into four basic categories:
wander (v): to move about without a fixed course, aim, or goal
Wander Trophies can be won simply by playing the game without worrying about whether or not one is actually doing well.
traverse (v): to go or travel across or over
Move and make progress through Echochrome’s 56 stages and seven courses to earn Traverse Trophies.
achieve (v): to get or attain as the result of exertion
Not much physical exertion is required, but certainly a commitment of some time and patience is necessary if earning Echochrome Achieve Trophies is the goal.
share (v): to grant or give out to others
Echochrome isn’t all about solving puzzles as it is also about creating them to distribute and share with the world. Participate enough in this aspect and the Share Trophy is your reward.

General Tips:
Despite feeling pretty rigid at first, Echochrome’s puzzles are actually quite flexible and forgiving. If you’re stuck and you can’t see what pathways you need to connect, try just getting your character into the air with a jump platform or hole. Once up there, because your character’s position in the world is determined entirely by your point of view, by spinnng the camera around quickly, sometimes you can catch him on a walkway that will make the rest of the journey a bit easier.
While this’ll help in progressing through most stages, don’t count on it helping you get into the top leaderboard spots. It’s a lot slower and a little random, unless you really know what you’re doing.
Traverse:
The most confusing part of the descriptions is the difference between stages and courses, especially since the menus in Echochrome are so sparse and atypical.
Basically, under “atelier” in the main menu, you can view all of the stages in the grid to the right. If you move the focus to the left, you’ll find that an entire row lights up and that’s how you select courses which are basically a series of stages back to back.
So for “Half the journey” and “Traversal,” you only need to play individual stages, where as “Total traversal” requires you do play through all of the courses.
